of Spanish cities.
Seven supercities have joined forces in an epic mission: to fight climate change with all their powers.

URBANEW EMC3: The Mission Continues
In 2023, seven Spanish cities decided to take a step forward in the face of major urban challenges. Thus was born URBANEW, a collaborative initiative to promote energy rehabilitation and urban regeneration from a practical, shared and transformative approach.
The project brought together professionals and technical teams with a common vision: to build more sustainable, resilient and livable cities, sharing lessons learned, solutions and methodologies.
Today, this alliance is giving rise to a new phase: URBANEW EMC³. A formula that strengthens cooperation, accelerates progress and consolidates a replicable roadmap for other cities in Europe. The story has only just begun.
