Barcelona City Council buys Casa Orsola following Urbanew's public-private model.
The Barcelona City Council recently announced the purchase of Casa Orsola, a private building whose owner was in the process of evicting tenants to dedicate it exclusively to seasonal rentals.
Although the rehabilitation of the building is not planned for the time being, the purchase of this building will be made through a partnership with a private third sector entity, thus putting into practice the public-private partnership model that the Consistory has been working on within the framework of Urbanew.
