In recent months, Madrid has conducted an economic study among different profiles of the environment (citizens, merchants, etc.) in order to optimize their electricity consumption with the production of solar panels to be installed in the CEIP El Greco. For this purpose, an Innovation, R+D+i and Energy consultancy firm has been involved.
On the other hand, a driving group has been set up, which is already meeting every two weeks, to set up an association or cooperative.
The project continues to move forward with the preparation of the contract specifications and the activation of the public.
On January 28, the V Meeting on the Energy Community around El Greco was held, during which the results of the optimization of energy consumption were presented to the members of the driving group as well as to neighbors and/or shopkeepers in the area.
