On November 26 and 27, the URBANEW EMC3 project participated in the second meeting of the working group on multigovernance, held in Lund, Sweden, as part of the European Enabling Cities Transformation (ECT) call. The meeting brought together different European cities with the aim of exploring governance models that promote the implementation of the Mission, with a special focus on the role of the private sector.
During the session, the cities of Mannheim, Malmö, Bristol, and Leuven shared their experiences and approaches to urban governance, providing key lessons on the articulation of public-private partnerships and coordination between administrative levels. Municipal representatives from Valencia and Vitoria-Gasteiz actively participated in the exchange, contributing to the dialogue and learning about these practices firsthand.
Representatives from Vitoria-Gasteiz also took part in a workshop organized by the Beyond Pilots Amplification Lab (AMP.Lab) project, which aims to explore strategies for scaling up and consolidating innovative urban initiatives and is funded by the Swedish Energy Agency.
